The NaNoWriMo Chronicles: Day 2

NaNoWriMo Day 2. Oh where to begin.

In terms of word count, today was slightly worse than yesterday, but, it's not for lack of trying. I am currently on my university's Ultimate Frisbee team and we have a tournament this weekend and it started today. So from 7 o'clock in the morning to about 3 o'clock in the afternoon, I was on the field. I tried writing as much as I could before I had to leave for the day, and since this is a two day tournament, I'm hoping to do the same thing tomorrow.

Today in Project Arizona, I wrote my first major death scene (while I was writing it, "Good Vibes" by Chris Jansen came on my playlist. If you haven't heard the song, you should. It's really fun. But not the best while you're trying to write a sad scene). I'm not going to say who, mostly because I'm hoping one day this book will be published one way or another and that's a spoiler (insert picture of River Song here).

Tomorrow I'm hoping to hit the 2,000 word mark again, so hopefully because I'm so exhausted today, that will mean I'll sleep well tonight and wake up early enough to write. Here's hoping!

Happy writing y'all! I'll see you tomorrow!
