The NaNoWriMo Chronicles: Day 8
Today was both an easy day and a rough day.
First of all, it was an easy writing day. Because I reached almost 6,000 words on Day 7, my brain was still a little too fried to put a whole lot into Project Arizona. I still managed to reach my daily goal of 1,700 words, but it was a little bit frustrating that I couldn't get any further.
There was also a landslide of personal life changes, so that didn't help my mood when it was time to sit down and write. It's hard to focus when you have a lot on your mind.
Right now in the story there's a lot of explaining. I'm calling it filler because it's a lot about the new setting and the new lives and routines the characters are in, so there's not a lot of action happening yet. At some point there will be, but I've still got a lot of build up before I get to the midpoint. So far so good though!
Happy writing y'all! I'll see you tomorrow!
