The NaNoWriMo Chronicles: Day 3
Day 3 was one heck of a productive (and frustrating) day.
First, let me tell you why it was frustrating. Today was the second day of our home frisbee tournament. It started off fine, running around and getting a lot of play time. Then, the last point of the game, I started losing my breath. It had been a long point, so I thought that maybe I was just a little winded. But when the game ended and I made it to the sideline, I couldn't breathe and was coughing nonstop, which made it even harder to breathe and to talk. As a result, I was out for the rest of the day, missing our last two games with barely enough voice to cheer my teammates on. Personally, it was extremely frustrating. I'm hoping that this isn't a sign of getting sick again (I just got over a week's long illness), but I'll guess we'll see.
Now onto the productive part of the day. Today was Fall Back, and we got an extra hour of sleep. Well, most people got an extra hour of sleep. I woke up at 4:50 this morning and felt like I could run a mile (which I'm glad I didn't or else I wouldn't have been able to play that first game). I love being up before the sun and to wake up on my own always makes me happy. In the time between when I woke up and went to the tournament, I sat down and wrote 1,000 words in Project Arizona. And that felt amazing! I really hope tomorrow will be as good!
Happy writing y'all! I'll see you tomorrow!
