The NaNoWriMo Chronicles: Day 7

I REACHED 20,000 WORDS!!

My brain is goo and hurting, but I reached 20,000! Today consisted of a lot of writing sprints. Plus I'm finally writing the part of the story that I've been daydreaming of for a year. I couldn't stop writing, and I loved it! I seriously do have a headache now, but it was totally worth it.

I'm really happy with my story so far. I finally introduced a new group of characters and I love them! I've got a lot more development to go for them, but so far they're a lot of fun to write.

I started to develop a fear that I'm going through this story too fast and that it's not actually worth 50,000 words. I've had some hesitations about getting this story to 50,000 words. I think it stems from the fantasy story I tried writing, in which I only was able to hit 37,000. That was just how the story went (at least the first draft). But I have to keep telling myself this story is different and, in reality, I have a lot more to write. I'm not even at the midpoint of the story yet. After that I have the rest of Act 2 and then the entirety of Act 3 to write. I honestly think this story will be more than 50,000 words by the time I'm actually done (at least I hope it will).

Happy writing y'all! I'll see you tomorrow!

Word count: 5,926
Words to go: 29,990

P.S. I've hit another reward but I can't think of anything to do. Any suggestions?
